Halloween Party

One last post of my creations from ideas straight from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  These items are found on pgs 6 and 9 and are great for you Halloween parties!

This is the simplest idea ever.  I purchased cocktail napkins from the store and then ran them through the Big Shot with the Spider Web Embossing Folder.  They came out just adorable!

These are the same idea as my party favors but done up with some of the Nite Owl DS paper and Raven Lace Ribbon.  Great to hand out treats to little ones.

I love thems and decorating everything I can get my hands on for a party so this is lots of fun.  I just wrapped Nite Owl DS paper around nuggets!  Too cute!

Supplies:
Card Stock - Pumpkin Pie, Nite Owl DS
Accessories - 1/2" Lace Trim, Spider Web Impressions Embossing Folder, Scallop Oval Punch, Dimensionals Sticky Strip, Candy Wrapper Bigz L Die, paper napkin

U of M vs. OSU - party treats

  VS.

The big game of The Ohio State University vs. University of Miami is today at 3:30!  This is the first time these two teams have played each other since the famous 2002 Championship game (which OSU won).  I am in a house divided as I am a HUGE Ohio State fan and my husband is a HUGE Miami fan.  We are having family and friends over for the game.  I will post pictures from these fun festivities but in the mean time I wanted to show you these great party treats I made for the game.

They were very easy to make and I am sure will be a big hit.  I filled them up with hersey kiss too!  The Candy Wrapper Die just take a little time to figure out how to fold but after a few it is very easy.

You can see here that I put the saying on with Dimensionals.

Supplies:
Card Stock - Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, football paper
Accessories - Scallop Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Candy Wrapper Bigz L Die, 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, green ribbon, Big Shot

Happy Halloween Picture

Another Halloween project from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I hope I am not boring you, but I had so much fun!  I saw this picture on pg. 6 and wanted to have it for myself.  What a great Decore piece!

I picked up the 8x10 frame at JoAnn's for $5.00.  I cut the tree paper (from the Nite Owl DS pack) to fit then used stamps to decorate around the edge.  The happy halloween is a Decor Elements image that I adhered right to the outside of the glass.  It looks great and already have the spot picked out to display it in October!

Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Dark and Dreary, Elements of Style
Card Stock - Nite Owl DS
Ink - Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black
Accessories - Spooky Things Decore Elements, frame

Quote the Raven...

This very simple card can be found on page 6 of the new Holiday Mini Catalog.  This card is so fast and easy and I just love the look!  The primary image is Nite Owl DS cut to fit the card.  I attached it to Tango Tangerine then tied the Raven Trim Lace around it.  Then all that's left is to attach to a Basic Black base!

Supplies:
Card Stock - Basic Black, Tango Tangerine, Nite Owl DS
Accessories - 1/2" Raven Trim Lace

3x3 Halloween

All the stores are going Halloween and so am I.  I ordered a bunch of Halloween items from the Holiday Mini Catalog and was just dying to play with them.  I didnt want to think, just play so I sat down and made several projects right from the catalog itself.  Over the next couple posts I am going to show you what I made.

This card came from pg. 6 of the mini catalog.  I stamped the Happy Halloween stamp on Whisper White and then again on Pear Pizzazz.  I punched out the number and layered it on with a Dimensional.  I layered the Whisper White onto Pear Pizzazz then onto Basic Black, but not before I added a strip of DS for a little more texture.  I tied my ribbon into a bow and adhered it with a glue dot.  After a couple of days the bow fell off so I glued it with 2-way glue so I recommend you use that instead.  This is a 3"x3" card and would make a great gift tag as shown in the catalog or as a card by itself.

Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Dark & Dreary
Card Stock - Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black, Nite Owl DS
Ink - Basic Black
Accessories - 1/2" Circle Punch, 2-way glue, Raven 1/2" Trim Lace, Dimensional

Gala Greenhouse Set

I came across these cards on Stamp with Tami's blog and thought what a simple and beautiful set they were!  She was selling these as a card kit through August so I wait to post until September 1st so not to steal here thunder.

These cards are 5"x5".  The Gala strips are cut at 4-1/2"x2-1/4".  I placed the ribbon across the base cardstock, taped the two coordinating strips down, then tied the ribbon over the seam to hide it.  I added a decorative saying with coordinating colors, punches, and sayings from Perfect Punches.  The coordinating strips are just the two sides of the double-sided Designer Series Paper.  Stampin Up does all the hard work for you!

Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Perfect Punches
Card Stock - Greenhouse Gala DS, Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Marina Mist
Ink - Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Marina Mist
Accessories - 5/8" Satin Ribbons in Marina Mist, Real Red, and Pumpkin Pie; Dimensionals; Punches Wide Oval, Scallop Oval, Scallop Circle, and Curly Label
