Go FGCU! Dunk City,FL

I know I haven't posted this week, I apologize.  Stampin' Up! is a part time job for me.  My full time job is working at Florida Gulf Coast University.  And this week, if you watch any TV at all you now know who we are.  Our boys have been playing Phenomenally!  We are all so proud!  And we are excited about the coverage our college is getting.  Since all of this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I have been living in the moment!  Check out some pictures I have taken this week.

Our Bookstore has seen record sales, wiping out the entire stock

Twisted Kissing Technique

The third and final technique I am going to show you involving the Kissing Technique is the Twisted Kissing Technique.  I don't have a card that displays this so I am going to just show you the technique.

As with the other Kissing Techniques, pick two stamps, one is the image you want to stamp on the paper (stamp 1) and the other is a pattern or texture you want to add to stamp 1 (stamp 2) and pick two complimentary ink colors.

Ink up stamp 2 in the darker color ink.  Ink up stamp 1 in the lighter color ink.  Stamp stamp 1 onto stamp 2.

Before you pick the stamp up, twist it just a little bit.

Here you can see how the design transfers to your solid image.

Stamp stamp 1 onto the cardstock.  Be sure to clean off stamps before re-inking.

Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Betsy's Blossoms, Hearts a Flutter
Card Stock - Whisper White
Ink - Midnight Muse, Bashful Blue
Accessories - Big Shot, Hearts a Flutter Framelits

One Ink Kissing Technique

The second Kissing Technique I am going to show you is the One Ink Kissing Technique.  In this card, it is the Summer Starfruit tags that display this technique.

Just like with the Two Ink Kissing Technique, pick two stamps, one is the image you want to stamp on the paper (stamp 1) and the other is a pattern or texture you want to add to stamp 1 (stamp 2).  This time you only need to pick one ink color.

 Ink up stamp 2.

Stamp stamp 1 onto stamp 2.

Here you can see how the design transfers to your solid image.

Stamp stamp 1 onto the cardstock.  Be sure to clean off stamps before re-inking.
