Inspiration for this card came from Dawn and Friends. It is a very elegant and eye catching card. Everyone I show it to ooohs and aaahs over it. The tray is made from the Scallop Border Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch and a rectangle I cut out with scissors. The ribbon on this card is a sneak peak from the up coming Holiday Mini. Just love that shimmer and sparkle!

Wedding Card
My mom had a Wedding Shower last weekend and she asked me to make a card for her. I immediately went to this design. I just LOVE it! The Bride's colors are gray, black, and white so that is what I used for the card. I don't normally post (or make) cards with retired material but I did here. You can really use this design with anything. I have to admit that I am VERY sad that my Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit is retiring and that will be one of the very few retired items I will keep.
Some explanation. The Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit is layered with the Full Heart Punch. For the tux, I just punch a Full Heart out of Basic Black and then use scissors to cut out the middle. For the white in the hearts I used the retired wedding designer paper but you could use regular white. For the design you could just stamp any swirly stamp with Versamark and get the same effect. If I had gray ribbon I would have used that for the grooms bow, but I didn't. I did Demensional the bride because otherwise it would not have laid flat over the groom.
Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Loving Thoughts
Card Stock - Whisper White, Basic Gray, Basic Black, retired wedding DS
Ink - Basic Black
Accessories -Basic Pearls, Big Shot, Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit, Full Heart Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, ribbon

Wedding Card Making Day
Recently I got together with some friends to make up Wedding Invitations and matching Thank Yous. They called it the Drink and Cut. We had wine/beer, cut and prepped everything to put together the wedding invitations and thank yous. It was such a great time!
They choose Lucky Limeaide and Early Espresso as they matched the colors best. It is a wedding on the beach so they picked out a couple of shell stamps at the local store. The cards are just PERFECT!

Wedding Card
I was in need of a wedding card for a wedding coming up. I saw this one a while ago. I changed some things up. I used Elegant Eggplant to match one of the colors from there wedding. I used Embosslits Scalloped Heart of Hearts and Full Heart Punch. It is hard to tell from the picture; however, the white of the hearts is made from the Presto Patterns Specialty DS Paper. I stamped the script Love from the retired set Wonderful Words at the bottom.
Since Elegant Eggplant is so dark I put Whisper White on the inside. In Elegant Eggplant I stamped Together Forever from the Together Forever stamp set and a heart from Simply Said. Overall, I think it came out just beautiful, I cant wait to give it to them...now to figure out a gift ;)
Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Wonderful Words (retired), Simply Said, Together Forever
Card Stock - Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink - Basic Black, Elegant Eggplant
Accessories - Embosslits Scalloped Heart of Hearts, Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder, Big Shot, Full Heart Punch, Scallop Trim Border, Sheer White Ribbon (retired), 1/4" White Grosgrain Ribbon, DS Presto Patterns Specialty Paper, Pretties Kit, Glue Dots
