Stair Step Christmas Card

I really like sending this card because it can become a decoration for the receiver.  Then can easily set it on a shelf or counter as it stands on its own.

Here is a picture of it flattened out.

Here is how to make the stair step card.  Cut your cardstock to 8-1/2" x 5-1/2".  Fold the card in half.  With the fold on the top, measure in to 2" from the left side and make a mark.  Repeat a little farther down.
From the fold measure 3-1/4" down using the 2" marks to make a straight line (lightly) with pencil.
Using scissors, cut from the fold on that line until it ends at 3-1/4' of the way down.
On your Simply Scored, place your paper lengthwise with the wider side (from the cut) up.  Score at 1", 1-7/8", 5-3/8", 6-1/2", and 7-1/2"

Starting at the 1" score, accordian fold at each of the score marks and your middle card fold and you have your stair step card.  now you can decorate the steps.  Have fun!
