Outlined Thanks

I love this simple little card using two of the free Sale-A-Bration sets.  This is a great card to leave off the sayings until the last minute and be used for any occasion that sneaks up on you.

Due to the ribbon, I have this card opening at the top (card base is 4-1/4" x 11").  Because I love dimension on my cards, the postage stamps are popped up with Dimensionals.  The only think that bothers me a little with this card is that you can see the ribbon on the inside of the card.  I like to hide all my "hardware", but it isn't that bad.

Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Fresh Vintage and Outlined Occasions Sale-A-Bration Sets
Card Stock - Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip
Ink - Chocolate Chip
Accessories - 1-1/4" Square Punch, 1-3/8" Square Punch, Chocolate Chip Scallop Dotted Ribbon, Dimensionals

Blossom Flowers

I got inspiration for this card from Marsha Reed, a demonstrator from Iowa.  I know that you are thinking "wow she is using that Mixed Bunch set and matching punch a lot" (okay maybe your not) but I have been because I just LOVE this set and punch!  The potential and ideas are endless.  I am really hoping that these make it from the Occasions Mini Catalog to next years Idea Book and Catalog.  But just in case they don't, be sure to get yours before its too late!

Stamp Set(s) - Raining Flowers, Mixed Bunch, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock - River Rock, Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke
Ink - Always Artichoke
Accessories - Sticky Strip, Sponge Dauber, Blossom Punch, Always Artichoke Seam Binding, Dimensionals, Basic Pearls

Blossom Bunch

This is a cute card that is nice to have on hand for those unexpected occasions.  The flower is two punches with the new Blossoms Punch.  The first is glued flat on the card.  The second, I rolled the petals and attached with a couple glue dots just in the middle.  The final touch is the center dot, stamped with Mixed Blossoms set, punched with 3/4" Circle Punch, attached with a Dimensional.  The center is then covered in Crystal Effects makes it look slick and shiny.

Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Mixed Bunch
Card Stock - Whisper White, Twitterpated DS
Ink - Basic Gray
Accessories - 3/4" Circle Punch, Crystal Effects, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Blossom Punch, Big Shot, Adorning Accents Embossing Folders, Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Here is my St. Patrick's Day card this year.  This picture does not do it justice!  It is beautiful (if I do say so myself).  You cant see it from the picture I misted the entire card with a Champaigne Shimmer Mist Spray.  To make this Shimmer Mist Spray just take a small spray bottle (maybe an old Stampin' Mist bottle) and fill it 3/4 the way full with rubbing alcohol. Add 5-6 drops of Shimmer Paint and shake well to mix. Hold the card about arms length from the spray bottle and spray a couple times to coat the card. It will look wet at first but the rubbing alcohol evaporates and leaves a beautiful shimmer!

Supplies:
Stamp Set(s) - Medallion, Happy St. Patrick's
Card Stock - Whisper White, Certainly Celery
Ink - Soft Suede, Certainly Celery
Accessories - 5/8" Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, Scallop Circle Punch, 1/16" Circle Punch, Glimmer Brads, Sponge Dauber, Designer Label Punch, Dimensionals, Champaigne Mist Shimmer Paint
