Above and Beyond Christmas Card Swap - Snowflakes

Here is another one of my swaps for Convention.  I did this card at my Extravagant Christmas Card class last November so it may look familiar to you.

It is a fairly simple card but looks like you have spent a lot of time on it.

First, take your fabric and snip the end at about how wide you want the strip to be.  The length will be the length of the fabric.

Once snipped, take a hold and tear.  It will tear straight and leave ragged edges (which I think adds character to the card).

Now prep the label for the card.  Punch one Real Red Decorative Label and one Baja Breeze Decorative label.  Cut the Baja Breeze label in half and then cut the points off the side.

Glue these on to the back of the Real Red Decorative Label so to layer it.

Stamp your saying on Whisper White Cardstock and then punch out with Scalloped Oval Punch.

Run your Whisper White Cardstock through the Big Shot with the Norther Flurries Embossing Folder.

Now assemble.  Be sure to tie your fabric around your Whisper White Cardstock before adhering it to the Read Red card base.  I used Dimensionals to adhere the Label to the card.  I also added a Rhinestone on the large snowflake for a little Bing.
